Women’s Radical Aging: Library 1

Women’s Radical Aging explores our gradual awakening to aging as a practice of listening to ourselves, rather than defining our future self through outside ageist messages of  women growing old, being old.

Using an interactive discussion group designed to energize, we will unpack personal and social attitudes that have influenced us as we journey into the later decades of our lives,

Using prompts, individuals will reflect and write down their thoughts on aging. Together, we will gather themes and identify those attitudes that serve us and those that diminish. We will go about the business of peeling  back the truth about the lives of women aging into their wisdom, into their creativity, into their changing bodies. We will learn to give voice not silence,  to understand community over isolation, and to action over inaction.
